Superstar Rajnikanth was impressed with the performance capturing technology used in The Adventures of Tin Tin that he wanted to use the same technology in his film. When Rajnikanth put forth this idea to his daughter Soundarya, she immediately agreed to make a film as per dad’s wishes.
And that is the beginning of Kochadaiyan, we are told. The film will use the technology that Steven Spielberg used in Tin Tin and James Cameron in Avatar.
When asked about the peculiar title, we heard that it is the name of Pandya King Kochadaiyan Ranathiran.
