Vijay said his forthcoming film Velayudham is a realistic film and not a super hero movie.
‘The film, which revolves around an ordinary milkman trying to eradicate corruption, is not a super hero film as described in a section of the media, but a realistic movie,’ said Vijay in Kochin.
The actor was in Kochi for the trailer release of the film in which actors Genelia & Hansika Motwani are doing lead roles along with him.
The film will hit the theatres on October 26. Produced by Aascar Ravichandran, it is directed by Jayam Ravi. Music is by Vijay Anthony.
Says Vijay, ‘ it has everything to entartain masses and I am confident that it would click’.
Velayudham makes an Impressive Start
Aascar Ravichandran, Vijay and Jeyam Raja are keeping their fingers crossed as they are sure as shooting stars with ‘Velayudham’. Having filmed nearly for a year, the makers had smart strategies of promoting the film not only in Tamil Nadu, but across the neighboring states as well.
Ilayathalapathy Vijay fans in Karnataka as the actor enchanted him with this fluent lines in Kannada. It is worth mentioning that the actor has huge fans following him in Kerala and the film is released nearly in more than 120 theatres.
The plans for advance bookings opened yesterday across all the theatres. Within few hours, the tickets for next 5 days were sold out and additional shows are to be screened as per the requests of fans. Sathyam multiplex has the film screened at its main theatre and most of the multiplexes have more shows.
