After her li’l tiff with Katrina Kaif, there are rumours that Deepika Padukone isn’t too secure and fond of Sonakshi Sinha, and is actually the reason why the actress was ousted from Race 2.

Apparently, both Deepika and Sonakshi were to play the female leads in the sequel of Abbas-Mustan’s ‘Race‘, but now Sonakshi has been replaced by Jacqueline Fernandez!
While rumour has it that it was Deepika who didn’t want to share screen-space with Sonakshi, the production house insists that it was a mere date problem that caused the change.
While a source tells us, “Deepika didn’t want to share screen space with Sonakshi and preferred that someone else come in,” a member from the production house insisted, “The shooting schedule changed, and Sonakshi couldn’t accomodate her dates. She is shooting for Dabangg 2 at the same time. Deepika has suggested nothing about the casting and has nothing to do with Sonakshi being out or Jacqueline being in. The rumours are all rubbish.”
Deepika Visits Taj Mahal on a Moonlit Night
Deepika Padukone’s love for the Taj Mahal is well known and the actress has paid a visit to the historic monument on a moonlit night once again. The 25-year-old actress visited the Taj bathed in the light of the harvest moon Oct. 12 night. She was accompanied by her security men and a male companion, whose identity could not be known. Deepika was in a group of 50 that was taken from Shilpagram, one km from the eastern gate of the Taj, for a 30-minute view of the monument from the central marble tank, midway to the mausoleum from the main gateway.
Dressed in a white kurta and black salwar with a red chunni, Deepika was seen engrossed in admiring the beauty of the Taj with the moonbeams playing on its dome, lighting up the semiprecious stones. As per Archaeological Society of India rules, groups of 50 at a time are permitted to visit the Taj during moonlit nights, after the ban on moonlight viewing place was lifted some years ago. Before the ban, thousands of viewers used to converge at the monument to see it at it is supposedly most beautiful during Sharad Purnima nights.
