Actor Surya‘s upcoming film ‘7am Arivu‘ is likely to clash with Vijay‘s ‘Velayudham‘ on Dewali. The two stars, who starred together in films like ‘Friends‘ more than a decade back, are all set to vie with each other for garnering the public’s attention on 26th October this year.
While ‘Velayudham‘ has Genelia and Hansika Motwani opposite Vijay and has been directed by ‘remake’ king ‘Jayam’ Raja, Surya‘s ‘7am Arivu‘ has been directed by the diminutive A.R Murugadoss and pits the debutant Shruti Hassan opposite Surya. ‘Velayudham‘ is said to be a wholesome commercial entertainer whereas ‘7am Arivu‘ would be a never-before kind of film in Tamil cinema.
Surya plays the triple roles of a scientist, a Buddhist Monk and a Circus artiste in the film which has been set in various periods of time. The talented and pretty Shruti Hassan would also be making her much-awaited debut in this film as a heroine. With her looks and grace, she would surely be luring the Tamil youths in the days to come, predict observers.
The audio launch of ‘7am Arivu‘ has been scheduled to be held at the Chennai Trade Center on the 22nd September, at 6.00 PM. It’d be a grand ceremony attended by the bigwigs of the Tamil film industry. The producer, Udhayanidhi Stalin, has promised some high voltage performances during the event.

Ace director A.R Murugadoss’ much awaited 7am Arivu, which has Surya and Shruti Hassan in the lead roles, will be released in Telugu as 7th Sense. The logo of 7th Sense was launched in Hyderabad recently. Surya, Shruti Hassan, A.R Murugadoss, Sunil, Boyapati Sreenu, Sukumar, Mehar Ramesh and Bellamkonda Suresh graced the occasion.
The film is likely to grace theaters on October 28, 2011 (Diwali weekend). The director is currently busy with the post production works and the music launch will take place in Chennai on September 22, 2011. The story is said to revolve around a time machine which is brought to India by a scientist. 7am Arivu is a sci-fi thriller in which Surya plays a triple role: a circus artist, a Buddhist monk and a scientist. Vietnamese stunt actor Johnny Tri Nguyen will play the baddie.
The film is made with a whopping budget of Rs. 84 Crores and interestingly, this is the highest budget film in Suriya’s career till date. The technical team includes Harris Jayaraj (music), Ravi K. Chandran (cinematography) and Anthony Gonsalves (editing).

Surya is not playin triple role . only one role at a time . for te first 20 mins a saint(BODHIDHARMA) in china at 6th century. after that the films moves with current world in which surya is a circus artist.Shruthi is the scientist who works with operation red in which she founds one of the predecesor of bodhidharma as surya and tries to stimulate his dna…..wat happens next is te film…..the whole movie is goin to revolve around the techniques which are gone from here and not known to us….
