Super Awards Ceremony is back on Vijay TV‘s Airtel Super Singer 3. Last time they even gave awards for the playback singers as Super Singer Awards and I am not sure whether that will be given this year too since there was a Vijay TV Music awards.
Keeping that aside, now it’s time to celebrate and honor the contestants of Airtel Super Singer 3. Vijay TV is reviewing contestant’s talents from their previous performances and honouring by giving awards for their talents in each genre. Its good that they are choosing each genre and givening away awards to the contestants and that too before the grand finals. Yeah, what will they really have if wild card round goes for 3 weeks :-)
The award started with Melody genre and Santhosh bagged the Best Melody Singer Award. His “En Kadhale” song from unplugged round and many other K.J Yesudas songs were noticeable performance. He also mentioned that he always prefer to sing melody song than other kinds of Songs.
Thiruvaiyaru Guy Sai Sharan won the Best Classical Singer award. Always Sai’s classical songs are divine to listen, especially in devotional round. He moved audience & judge’s heart by his classical performance.
RockStar Kaushik won the Best Folk Singer Award of Airtel Super Singer 3. His power packed “Puli Urumudhu” performance was extraordinary.
There are two more special awards announced today which is for Best entertainment and Best Supporter Award of Airtel Super Singer 3.
Well expected Best Entertainer is none other than Praveen. Many times the judges mentioned that “He is the performer” and Domestic contestants of Airtel Super Singer 3 should learn from Praveen, how to perform on the stage.
Best Supporter Award is given to Mr. Balachandar from audience. He is the one who encouraged all the contestants during shoot. Also, Pooja mentioned that when all the contestents are tired he encouraged the them by providing Bun and his dance. Gopinath called him as Bun Balachandar. As santhosh said “Bun is the secret of Pooja’s Energy” ?
I guess Vijay TV has nominated appropriate contestants for all the genres. Its good to see Krishna, Hariharasudhan who have been very good performers but not carried to top few levels seen in the list which is really encouraging.

Award is predetermined one.Placing Pooja &Satya on winner table all the votes were after to that were polled between Sai&santhosh. people were misguided thinking that the votes r to be polled betn. sai&santhosh.It was also told some one related to Sai is with Vijay T V.The judges marks were not displayed & also the no. of votes each one got. To make Sai as winner he was eliminated in the previous round &brought back so that the people would not smell the rat.
No ,doubt Sai has done well in the last round but not deserve the first. Melodious voice of satya is great &cannot be compared with of Sai. Can u display the pattern of voting date wise& final marks given by the judges?

Vijay tv haslost to the desperate winners and failed to recognise the real multi talent
singers like Sathya and Pooja, their talents are shadowed by the emotional show offs.
if Vijaya tv wants to award this emotional show makers they should have organised a
separate show for good drama makers and good human beings. Then why call this
a talent show and waste contestants time,efforts and money and viewers time and calls(SMS).
Vijay tv should not hear to any of the personal background stories of the contestants in this kind of shows.
which human being has no tragedies and hardships in life , they should censor all that, please don’t hear to
the stories of the mothers and show a soft corners, here in this show talent is that matters and not the emotions.
In that case pooja also may be facing the same difficulties, they are not putting up the
scenes like this mother and son.
even a person with minimal music knowledge knows who sang very well that day,and who has been singing well
consistently through out the season.
Real super singers should not only be good singers but should also have some basic manners and broadmind.
Sai cannot stand anybody singing well and will show a long face, remember the way he looked when he was
eliminated, his mother also could not take the elimination and started complaining, and they both were not
present on the first day of wild card round. so egoistic and desperate to win the title. Sai is so selfish to win
for himself and dont want the title going to the deserving candidate.
public voting should be considered for the title ‘public favourite singer’ and not super singer title. New judges should have
judged in the final and given the judgement based on the all the best performance the contestants had given through
out the season.
No one will suit the title other than SATHYA PRAKASH, he can sing any genre at ease, he can move from octave
to another octave without any strain. Sathya is an amazing singer, with humble behaviour and with no acting skills
nor despearte to win. Sai used to struggle and strain his voice not at all pleasant to hear. pooja will never show any
strains nor difficulty in her voice what ever she sings. she has also given amazging performances.
sathya and pooja definitely derserving candidates, may be third place for sai, fourth place deserving candidates are
srinivas or santhosh.
Sathya and Pooja should not participate in any other shows of Star Vijay hence forth, it was a disgrace to their efforts.
i am sure that Director Murugadoss may also be repenting for his announcements.
