It went onto make a stupendous opening in both multiplexes and single screens across Tamil Nadu. The celebrities in Tamil film industry had even called off a day from shooting to watch the film. Simbu, Ashwin Shekar, Bharath and other few actors were in raging excitements to watch film with their fans.
Trisha has tweeted saying, “Ajith has proved that he is in the hearts of fans. In spite of disbanding his fans club, going with a natural look and choosing a really different role, he has endeavored with his mission.”
Producer Dhananjayan of UTV Motion Pictures has said, “Ajith has proved that a film’s success doesn’t go with the fans club.”
