For the past one week, we have been noticing some colourful posters featuring unknown yet cool ‘n’ good looking young couples’ images with the title of ‘Neethane En Ponvasantham’. However, nothing was revealed about the makers until this morning.
Yes, it’s Gautham Menon’s next film that stars Jeeva and Samantha in lead roles. The film is produced by Photon Kathaas in collaboration with RS Infotainment. The tagline that reads ‘This could be your love story!’ has already created huge sensation for the film.
A.R Rahman will be scoring music for the film while Manoj Paramahamsa is handling cinematography with Anthony on editing and Thamarai on lyrics.

Jeeva – Samantha’s ‘Neethane En Ponvasantham’ – First Look
The masks were unveiled at last. The advertisements of ‘Neethane En Ponvasantham’ on leading newspapers for the past few days, that featured a young pair, are that of Gautham Menon’s forthcoming film, featuring Jeeva and Samantha in lead roles.
Remember Gautham adopted a similar tactic before launching ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ too. This is his style of creating a buzz over the film and then revealing its details to the masses.
The movie was earlier titled ‘Nithya’ and it has now been rechristened as ‘Neethane En Ponvasantham’. Kumar and Jayaram of RS Infotainment will present this film produced by Photon Kathas Production.
Jeeva plays 21-year-old Raghu, an engineering student, while Samantha plays Nithya, a 20-year-old psychology student. “Jeeva has hit the gym to get the shape and style of a college student,” sources add. And we can see him with a different hair style as well. The tag line, “This could be your love story”, has caught the attention of one and all and fans are expecting the film to be a visual treat and a breezy romantic film like VTV.

Jeeva & Gautham Menon have started shoot of their film ‘Neethaane En Ponvasantham’. This film is being produced by R.S Infotainment along with Photon Kathaas. The ad campaign that garnered interest with the public over the last few days showcases the film as a feel-good, young, college-romance film. Santhanam is also a part of the film, playing an important role.
This is the first time Gautham and Santhanam come together and is in fact the first time since Vivek (in minnale) that gautham has signed on a leading comedian. However, Gautham insists that he will be presenting not only Jeeva, but also Santhanam differently. Samantha, who essayed the role of ‘Jessie’ in the telugu version of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa is the heroine.
