Certain changes are being made to the original script of ‘Raana‘ considering the health condition of Superstar Rajnikanth, who recently underwent treatment for kidney related ailment at a Singapore hospital.
This has been confirmed by lyricist Vairamuthu, who called on the top actor recently at Sri Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam in Kodambakkam. “I was so happy to meet Rajnikanth after a gap,” he says.

Vairamuthu adds: “Rajnikanth is perfectly alright. And he is in a very good mood, cracking jokes and analyzing things in his own style. But still, some minor changes are being made to Raana as director K.S Ravikumar is not ready to give any strain to the Superstar.”
“We discussed many issues in the meeting that lasted for 45 minutes. The topics we covered including literature, politics, philosophy and life. Rajnikanth is happy with the care and concern showered on him by Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, DMK president M Karunanidhi and of course, his fans.”

Vairamuthu meets Rajnikanth
Superstar Rajnikanth is back in good health after successfully undergoing treatment for kidney-related ailments at a Singapore hospital. Reiterating this now is Vairamuthu, who had met the top actor recently.
The ‘Kaviperarasu’, who called on Rajini at the latter’s Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam in Chennai, says, ‘It was an emotional experience to meet Rajini after a gap. He is completely alright. The charm is back on his face.’
Saying that he was chatting with Rajini for more than 45 minutes and discussed various topics, including films, politics, philosophy and life, Vairamuthu says, ‘Rajini is keen to start the shooting of Rana, which was disrupted after he fell ill.’
‘Rajini has fought a big battle with destiny and won it finally. I am sure that he would long live with good health. The Superstar was so touched by the affection showered on him by his fans when he was not well.’
Suspense still continues on when Superstar Rajnikanth will resume the shoot for his Rana.
According to latest reports, the shooting of Rajnikanth’s Rana, which was postponed due to his health condition, will resume on October 3, 2011.
The actor returned home a couple of months ago after spending over two months in Singapore for treatment of kidney-related ailment. Rana is directed by K S Ravikumar and the film is jointly produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth and Eros International.
Deepika Padukone, Sonu Sood and Ganja Karuppu will also play prominent roles in the film. A R Rahman has already composed three songs for the multi-budget venture.
