Director Prabhu deva has been camping in Kolkata for the past few days. The bearded choreographer-turned-director has been shooting for the past week or so in Kolkata and its surroundings for his upcoming film titled ‘Vedi‘ starring Vishal and Sameera Reddy in lead roles. The film, which was earlier titled as ‘Prabhakaran‘, has now been changed to ‘Vedi‘.
The crew is getting delayed in its shooting schedule as Goddess Kali’s grace doesn’t appear to befall them at present. The crew had earlier applied to the local administration seeking permission to shoot in the premises of the famous Kali Temple there. The administration, it appears, has rejected the plea of the crew citing that the applicationhadn’t been filled ‘properly’.
When the crew went to shoot at the temple on the said date, they weren’t allowed inside but were made to wait outside as the administration hadn’t yet decided whether to allow them or not to shoot at the temple. Prabhudeva, though, is said to be quite adamant inshooting a particular sequence inside the temple’s premises. We only hope the crew isn’t kept waiting outside the temple for days together!
