Taapsee was the initial choice for K.V Anand’s Maatraan with Surya. But at the last moment the actress could not make it. However, she is not perturbed at the missing the chance to Kajal Agarwal.
She says quite sportively, ‘this is not the last film that K.V Anand sir or Surya will be doing. They have a long career ahead of them. I am sure I will definitely pair up with Surya and act in K.V Anand sir’s direction soon’
The Punjabi lass, who celebrated her birthday on Monday, adds: ‘And anyway, it’s common practice in the industry to have a list of possible actresses who would suit the role. I have been signed up many times and at others, I have missed the opportunity as well.’
The Aadukalam girl is all set to start her Bollywood venture, Says the actress, ‘I will start my Bollywood debut, the remake of Chashme Baddoor, sometime from October as well. I just want to be busy in the industry for as long as I want!’.

Tapasee Pannu Kicked Out of Maatraan
Maatraan is the Suriya film that was announced early in 2011. This is the next film for KV Anand after the all successful Ko. It is about Siamese twins said sources which KV Anand had denied. Now, KV Anand is ready to start the film after it was helmed in the preproduction stages.
Tapasee Pannu was initially considered for the cast but her bland looks did not help the cast. In Aadukalam, the unimaginative song about her skin tone must have left the lyric writer to write nothing about her except for her skin tone.
With average looks, Tapasee finds it difficult to survive when she is even kicked out of Maatraan. Although the crew of Maatraan moved ahead, Tapasee Pannu is not able to digest the rejection and she has been telling the media that it was she who opted out of the project. Hearing this, the crew of Maatraan only had to laugh.
