Hansika Motwani turns 21
She stood before the camera as a child artist and with every new project sculpted a name for herself even at a very young age. After a small stint with the small-screen, she zoomed out, larger-than-life on to the silver screen as a heroine with ‘Mappillai‘ where she starred opposite Dhanush. Though the film dealt with a hero-centric subject, Hansika Motwani‘s performance got noticed by film goers as well as the critics.
Hansika Motwani‘s second release in Tamil was ‘Engeyum Kadhal‘ under Prabhu Deva‘s direction where this “pretty find” shared screen space with ‘Jayam’ Ravi. She was only two films old when she dared to try comedy, and guess what, it worked wonders for the young actress who surely is more than just a pretty face.
Hansika Motwani is eagerly waiting for ‘Velayudham‘s release which might happen towards the end of this month. This film sees her portraying Vijay‘s female lead. And in the pipeline is ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi‘ with Udhayanidhi Stalin under Rajesh‘s direction. This film sees Udhayanidhi Stalin. debuting as hero into Tamil, and the flick is touted to be a rom-com.
Though Hansika Motwani has been around for just almost a year now, she has got to play the female lead with the some of the top, young and powerful heroes of the Tamil film industry. If her career continues to shape up as it has done so far, we might have a younger version of Kushboo in the making, who knows?

20-year old Hansika is mother to 20 kids
The bubbly yet curvaceous Hansika recently stepped out of her teens and turned 20. The actress, who debuted in Dhanush-starrer ‘Maappillai’ a few months back, followed it up with ‘Engeyum Kaadhal’ opposite ‘Jayam’ Ravi and directed by Prabhudeva. While ‘Maappillai’ fared badly at the box-office, Prabhudeva’s musical fared better.
The good Samaritan that she is, Hansika is now the mother of ‘20 kids’! Don’t get any other ideas; the actress recently adopted her 20th kid, adding one more to the 19 kids that she had already been patronizing and taking care of in Mumbai. Despite her busy shooting schedule, the gold-hearted Hansika does spare time to take care of these kids.
She has a couple of big projects coming up in ‘Velayudham’ opposite Vijay and in ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ opposite Udhayanidhi and directed by Rajesh. The talk in the industry is that both the films appear to be sure-fire hits and that Hansika’s stakes would reach sky-high once these films release and become hits.
She not only offers financial help but does make it a habit of taking them out to Beach, Park and to movies whenever she finds time to spare. When she returns with the kids, she does some busy shopping to get all the things demanded by the kids. “I would love to play an ‘actual’ mother to them,” says Hansika.
