Prabhu Deva’s previous film ‘Villu’ turned out to be a box office disaster and nearly for more than 2 years, he took a break and came back with ‘Engeyum Kadhal’, which witnessed good results in box office.
Now he is ready with the release of his next film ‘Vedi’ starring Vishal and Sameera Reddy in lead roles is a remake of Telugu flick ‘Shouryam’ that was a blockbuster in Andhra Pradesh. It is worth mentioning that the original version ‘Shouryam’ was directed by cinematographer turned filmmaker Shiva, who made his debut directorial with Karthi starrer ‘Siruthai’.
One of the major highlights of the film are the action sequences that Vishal has performed without any dupes. It is worth mentioning that the actor was injured recently while shooting a stunt scene. Sameera Reddy has undergone a complete transformation in her characterization.
Vijay Anthony has scored music for the film that has cinematography by R.D Rajasekhar. The film is produced by Vishal’s home banner GK Films Corporation.
