Ace filmmaker Selvaraghavan married his former associate Geetanjali on Sunday at the Le Royal Meridian Hotel in Chennai. It was a traditional Hindu wedding attended by elders and close relatives of both the families.
The reception for the newlyweds will take place at 6:30 pm Monday at the Mayor Ramanathan Hall at MRC Nagar in Chennai. The groom’s brother Dhanush and sister-in-law, Aishwarya played host to perfection, making the guests feel at home with their warm smile.
Gitanjali, clad in a red saree, was quite the cheerful bride. Several film personalities including Suhasini, Chinni Jayanth, AM Rathinam, Prabhu, Ram Kumar, Mani Ratnam, and Aravind Samy greeted the couple.
Apart from guests from the film fraternity, the wedding was also attended by senior police officials, including former CoP T Rajendran and former DGP Letika Saran. Sources have it that Dhanush’s father-in-law Superstar Rajnikanth greeted the couple over phone.
