Pranitha, the Udhayan girl, is going great guns it seems. If sources are to be believed, the Sandalwood actress has been signed to play the female lead in Saguni, a forthcoming film of Karthi.
‘Her looks and talent have fetched her the Saguni offer. Pranitha has a meaty role to play in the film and she is happy to share the screen space with Karthi,’ say sources in the know.
Pranitha, who is a popular actress in Kannada and Telugu film industries, entered Kollywood with Udhayan last week. ‘I am happy with the feedback I have been getting for Udhayan,’ she says.
The actress, who had worked with some of the top stars in Tollywood and Sandalwood, says, ‘My aim is to do quality movies which offer me meaty roles. Languages is not a matter.’
