Prabhu Deva and Ramlath had officially and legally split their almost 16 years of life together. The divorce was granted on mutual consent by the family court in Chennai. Judge Raja Chockalingam announced the verdict in the court that the marriage was dissolved on mutual consent.
As we reported earlier, Prabhu Deva made a settlement of Rs. 10 lakhs, a property in Anna Nagar, another piece of land in Injambakkam on ECR with two luxury cars to Ramlath for her to raise their two children. Prabhu Deva will take care of the expenses for the education and marriage of their two children.
Prabhu Deva was not willing to comment on his personal life. The arrangements for their marriage has been made swift which is set to happen in Mumbai but the pair has not fixed the date of marriage yet.
