So far in the Filmography list of Dayanidhi Azhagiri‘s Cloud Nine Movies, ‘Mankatha’ is the ever big-budgeted film. A single track CD consisting of the song Vilayaadu Mankatha was released as a curtain raiser. This film has gained importance since this is Ajith’s 50th film.
Producer Dayanidhi Azhagiri said that Mankatha is his dream film. While speaking to the media, he said, “For a long time I was thinking of making a film with Venkat Prabhu. Coincidentally, the story of Mankatha suited me.
Venkat Prabhu is my wonderful friend. All the crew members of this film have worked with dedication putting out all the efforts. This film will be an important film in the history of Tamil cinema. As far as I am concerned if I want to say in a single line, Mankatha is my dream film”.
Premji’s “Machi, Open the Bottle” in Mankatha
The audio of the Mankatha may be released during the third week of July and the response to the single track proves the worth. It is understood that the album of Mankatha will play nine songs including a remix created by Venkat Prabu’s brother Premji. And more so to quote, Premji will popularize the phrase “Machi, Open the bottle” much akin to that of Enna Koduma Sir (Chennai 600028) and Saroja Saman Nikalo.
Not just that, Yuvan Shankar Raja & Premji is also working on a remix of ‘Vilayadu Mankatha’ which is already a chartbuster . The remix is done by Premji and the song might most likely to be appear before the end credits in the film.
As already mentioned in our columns, Venkat Prabu has packed his unit for Bangkok to complete a song sequence and this will be over in a ten day time. Also in the shots is Lakshmi Rai whose character has weight to deliver. We are very much awesome that how many more events would surround Mankatha within its release.
