Namitha, the glamdoll of South Indian Cinema and the dreamgirl of many, has hinted at entering into politics. ‘But this is not the right time. I may come into politics after some years,’ says the actress in her typical style.
‘I am interested at knowing day to day happenings. Though I am not fully aware of politics, I know important things. At the same time, I am also aware that this is not the right time to enter politics,’ she says.
On taking a break from acting, she says, ‘Because I don’t want to do stereotype roles. I would like to show some difference in each and every film of mine. There is no point in acting in films just for the sake of making money.’
She adds: ‘I am ready to act in Tamil films if there is a good role for me. I love Tamilnadu and the people here. My love is always there for my machans here. I would like to entertain them always. I am so happy with the affection they have on me.’
