Director Kannan has denied reports appeared in a section of the media that his forthcoming venture Vandhan Vendran, which has Jeeva & Tapsee in lead roles, is inspired Bollywood’s I hate Luv Storys.

Remember Kannan‘s earlier venture Kanden Kadhalai (Bharath-Tamanna) was the Tamil adaptation of Hindi hit Jab We Met, though his first film Jayamkondaen (Vinay-Bhavana) was based on his original script.
‘The movie is not inspired by any Hindi or Hollywood film, as reported in a section of the media. It is my original story. And everyone will accept it once Vandhan Vendran hits the screens,’ he says.
Jeeva is playing a professional boxer in the film while Tapsee a modern girl. ‘Both shared a very good chemistry and it is an added advantage to the movie’, Kannan says and adds: ‘Jeeva has done a wonderful job and it will be a guaranteed treat for his fans.’
