Varalaru
The long pending film which saw many hurdles and hiccups to get into a final shape, Varalaru had the streaming postures of Ajith in three roles. After Villain, K.S Ravikumar took this movie as a challenge to make a come back for Ajith, who had gone to the depressed state after continuous flops. With Ajith too realizing his stature in Kollywood, the film went off well fetching Rs50 crores to the box office. Ajith won the third Filmfare Awards for best acting from this movie.

Ajith is currently in the verge of completion of his film directed by Vishnuvardhan. But still the title of the film has not yet been revealed. But recently when director Venkat prabhu was having a very casual chat with director Vishnu he has confirmed that the title of this film is ready and will be revealed at the apt time. Vishnu vardhan is in awe of the music by yuvan for this film. The combo of Ajith, Vishnu and Yuvan joining after Billa has certainly increased the expectations and the combo is working hard to set a new trend again.
