Sun Pictures has bought too many of Dhanush’s films of late. Padikkathavan, Uththamaputhiran, Aadukalam and now Venghai. Though it is about the confidence in the fan following of Dhanush, it is also about Director Hari. When Sun Pictures faced a huge loss in the form of Sura, it is Singam that bailed them out.
Surya’s Singam was a huge hit directed by Hari that ran packed houses for most of its days at the theaters. Since Hari has directed this flick, Sun Pictures wants to lap up this double fortune. Vengai has Tamanna in the female lead role.
She has not done any Tamil film of late. Director Hari has again resorted to Devi Sri Prasad for the music who churned out hit numbers in Singam. The audio launch will happen on June 10, 2011. Soon, the promos will be on air on Sun TV 24/7 and the film is expected to release soon as well.
