Kollywood always shares a positive rapport with the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Now that AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa has assumed the power in the State, the Tamil film industry is extending its support to her.
On Saturday, a host of Kollywood personalities, including popular actors Kamal Hassan, Prabhu and Vijay, called on the Chief Minister at her Poes Garden residence in Chennai.
While Kamal Hassan was accompanied by Gowthami and daughters Akshara & Subbulakshmi, Prabhu met the CM with brother Ramkumar, wife and other members of the Nadigar Thilakam family.
Vijay was accompanied by his father and popular director S A Chandrasekar. Others who had called on Saturday Jayalalithaa include V S Raghavan, S N Lakshmi, Sachu and L R Easwari.
Later in the day, the Chief Minister attended the wedding reception of Radha Ravi’s son at Vanagaram on the outskirts of Chennai.
