Kajal Agarwal is born both in Mumbai as well as in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Last week, there was a big raging controversy over her remarks about claiming that she was not a South Indian actress but was a North Indian by birth and career.
This was her comment or at least it was interpreted this way when the Tamil and Telugu film industries took offense to slap a ban on her if she had not apologized. After a period of silence, the actress has come out saying that it is the South Indian film industries where her career was born.
Although she was born in the north, her career was born in the south and so she would not pass such comments claiming herself as a north Indian actress, said the actress. She also said people tried to sully her reputation. It seems this clarification will help the actress to prevent a ban on her in both the Tamil and Telugu film industries.
