Vidya Balan’s voluptuous avatar in Dirty Picture

Vidya Balan seems to be the hottest news item ever since she agreed to play Silk Smitha in the yesteryear actress’s bio pic. The movie, titled Dirty Picture, is subjecting Vidya Balan to a makeover, to resemble the South Indian dusky star. The movie’s producer Ekta Kapoor had advised Vidya Balan to shed some weight, for which the actress readily agreed. Now to add more curves to Vidya Balan, the actress has been advised to sport a butt pad to make her bottom more curvy.

Producer Ekta Kapoor is pinning her hopes on Dirty Picture, and believes the movie will bring the same success Ragini MMS delivered. Ekta Kapoor & Vidya Balan had earlier said that the movie wouldn’t be on sleaze and skin show, but will essay a poignant tale of a popular actress, her downfalls in life, and the circumstances which forced her to kill herself. Dirty Picture began production on May 20th, and will hit screens in November.

Vidya Balan’s mixed emotions over playing Silk Smitha

Vidya Balan is in high spirits after her recent flick No One Killed Jessica received positive responses. The actress, along with Rani Mukherjee was lauded for her performance in the thriller packed reality inspired movie. Milan Luthria‘s Dirty Picture is her upcoming project, and she was constantly in the news after accepting to play the sensual yesteryear glamour star Silk Smitha in the movie.

Talking about the role, Vidya Balan said that she was thrilled and shocked to learn that she was the first for the role. The actress opined that Silk’s Smitha’s glamour was in her face and eyes and was happy when Luthria approached her for the role. As the filming for Dirty Picture is about to begin, Vidya Balan is super thrilled.
