After the recent elections, many producers were reluctant to sell the rights of the film to the members of Kalaignar’s clan. Even films like Maaveeran & Avan Ivan backed out. But at this point of time Sun TV has acquired the rights of Vaanam. This film is to be aired soon.
Vaanam is a film which has Simbu, Bharath, Anushka, Prakash Raj, Saranya Ponvannan, Sonia Agarwal, Vega, Santhanam, Jasmin, Radha Ravi, Ravi Prakash, Jayaprakash, Ganesh, Kadhal Thandapani, Brahmanandam and Krish in the cast. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music while Anthony has edited this film. Nirav Shah and Gnana Sekaran have handled the camera. The film has been produced by V T V Ganesh and R Ganesh.
