Superstar Rajnikanth, who has been admitted to the Sri Rama Chandra Hospital here for recurrent respiratory infection and gastro-intestinal problems, is progressing well, according to hospital sources.

According to a health bulletin released by the hospital, the 60-year-old star was admitted May 13 for detailed investigations into his respiratory and gastro-intestinal problems.
A hospital official said that Rajnikanth is not in the intensive care unit (ICU), but in a private room and is progressing well.
T.G. Nallamuthu, the hospital’s media consultant, said
“Initially it was thought Rajnikanth would leave for home after some compulsory tests. But it was decided to admit him for his speedy recovery,”
This is the third time in just over three weeks the matinee idol has been admitted to a hospital due the same suffering. During the last week Rajnikanth decided to fly to US for better treatment and for extended rest, but all of a sudden his health got disturbed.
However, all his fans from Kashmir to Kanya Kumari and from America to Australia are praying for Rajini to recover soon.
