Rajnikanth hospitalised for the second time within a week

Superstar Rajnikanth has been hospitalised for the second time in a week. He was admitted to the Isabel hospital in Chennai on Wednesday night and is being treated for allergic bronchitis and high fever.

Hopsital sources described the 60-year-old actors condition as “stable”. He will be in the Intensive Care Unit for two days, his family said. The family has appealed to fans not to come to the hospital as doctors have advised him to rest.

On April 29, last Friday, the actor was admitted to the same hospital briefly for exhaustion and dehydration. He was discharged the same day.

Rajnikanth  is currently shooting for his latest film ‘Rana’, in which he plays a triple role. The film, in which he is paired opposite Bollywood heroine, Deepika Padukone, went on the floors the day Rajni was first hospitalised.

His millions of fans all over are praying for a speedy recovery across social networking sites.

    Superstar Rajnikanth, who was rushed to the hospital on the day of his upcoming film Raana’s muhurat shoot, has been hospitalised again. According to an news report, the actor is suffering from allergic bronchitis and high fever and was brought to Isabela hospital in Chennai on Wednesday night.

    According to the hospital officials, the actor’s condition is stable but he’ll be in the Intensive Care Unit for two days as a precautionary measure.

    Rajni’s family is present at the hospital and has appealed to fans not to throng the hospital premises as the actor has been advised rest by the doctors.

    The actor was admitted to the same hospital last week when he complained of uneasiness on the sets of his upcoming film Rana. It was later diagnosed as a bout of dehydration and exhaustion.

    Rajni’s playing a triple character in the film that’s slated to release in 2012.

    Hospital sources said the top actor of Kollywood had complained of breathlessness and fever but his condition was said to be stable. Meanwhile, his family has appealed to fans to not come to the hospital as doctors have advised him to rest.

    It may be recalled that Rajini was admitted to the same hospital briefly on Friday, the first day of the shoot of his forthcoming film Rana, after exhaustion due to dehydration. Raana, a period movie, is directed by K.S Ravikumar.

    Superstar Rushed to Hospital Again

    It looks like a deplorable scenario for ‘Raana’ team as Superstar Rajnikanth has been relentlessly falling sick. It all started on the first day of shooting, when the actor had some digestive problems and was admitted at Isabella Hospital. Surprisingly, he was back to normal stage soon and returned back home.

    The crew resumed the shooting of a song before couple of days at AVM Studios. Regrettably, he was prone to fever last night and was again taken to the same hospital. The doctors are taking scrutinizing care and closer sources admit that he is alright and will be soon back for shooting.
