Hours after Superstar Rajnikanth’s(rajnikanth health) daughter Aishwarya Dhanush said one of the reasons for going to Singapore was to provide her father some privacy, the actor’s wife Latha Rajnikanth told reporters that he was going to the city state for rest and rejuvenation.
The matinee idol, who was admitted to the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre in Chennai with fever and fluid retention following acute gastro-intestinal and respiratory problems since May 13, was discharged from the hospital Friday evening.
Thanking his fans and well wishers Rajnikanth‘s wife Latha Rajnikanth in a statement issued Friday said the actor needs complete rest and healthcare.
Later in the day, the actor’s ambulance was taken to the flight in which he was booked in the business class and he left for Singapore. Also on Friday, a release from Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, from where he was discharged earlier in the day, said Rajnikanth had responded well to treatment and the lab parameters had improved.
‘He is cheerful, taking his food himself, ambulant, spending time with family. He has scheduled his trip abroad for a change and relaxation and incidentally to go in for selective checkups,’ the hospital bulletin said.
