Actor Jeeva‘s cup of joy seems to be overflowing. The actor has been having a tremendous time at the box-office for the past couple of years. It all started with the success of ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi‘ in the year 2009. He then followed it up with a moderate hit in ‘Katcheri Aarambam‘ opposite Poonam Bajwa last year. This year, he had a reasonable hit film in ‘Singampuli‘ opposite Divya Spandana. And now, ‘Ko’ has just been declared a super-hit film!

‘Ko’, which pitted Jeeva opposite newcomer Karthika Nair, Ajmal Ameer and Piaa Bajpai, has been directed by K.V Anand and has been declared ‘hit’ by trade pundits. The film, released by Udhayanidhi Stalin‘s Red Giant Movies, has been doing well at all the ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ centres, it is learnt. The films also marks the successful debut for Karthika, daughter of yesteryear’s heroine Radha and also signals the comeback of the talented duo of Ajmal Ameer and Piaa Bajpai.
During one of his promotional visits to a multiplex in Salem which is screening ‘Ko’, Jeeva said that he was quite happy to see his film into its third week. “Now-a-days, it’s becoming increasingly impossible for films to cross even the 10-day and 15-day barriers. I would love it if ‘Ko’ goes on to become one of the biggest hits in my career,” said a visibly happy Jeeva.
Later, speaking to press persons, Jeeva said that ‘Ko’ marked a ‘significant’ turning point in his career. “From here onwards, there should be no looking back for me, I presume. Getting such films is a rare thing for a hero and I consider myself lucky to have been chosen by Anand Sir. I’m even happier that I played a photo-journalist,” said Jeeva.
