Karthi who got engaged last week to Ranjani, has started work on his new film Saguni. The film directed by debutant Shankar Dayal, is produced by a new banner Dream Warrior Pictures.
The shoot of Saguni has started in and around Chennai and suburbs. It is said to be a mass masala film, being made like Siruthai.
The first look of the film has striking similarity to Siruthai, which was telecast on Vijay TV.
Saguni has music by GV Prakash and cameraman is PG Muthiah with art by Rajeevan.
The heroine search for the film is still going on, as many Bollywood actors have been approached.
Saguni is moving at a brisk pace and may release for Diwali 2011.
