When a film arrives from Sun Pictures, 50% of the success is confirmed with its banner name and the vigorous promotions. Post-Endhiran, the scenario seems to be taking an abrupt change as ‘Aadukalam’ & ‘Mappillai’ didn’t fetch enough profits for the producers in Sun Pictures.
The other film ‘Engeyum Kadhal’ opened up yesterday with more prints. The promotional campaigns were more than enough to keep audiences hooked onto the project. But it is receiving mixed response from the audiences. The feedbacks heard straight from the shoulders of audiences after the show in a public opinion was that the film runs short off any big conflicts and the romance is not very well portrayed.
But with some multiplex audiences, they love the stylish make of this film. We’ll have to wait and watch for the scenario as ‘Ko’ and ‘Vaanam’ will be giving a tough fight in box office.
