Kannada Actress Divya Spandana a.k.a Ramya has been selected as the ambassador for the first Vishwa Kannada Sammelan in London, to be organised by the UK-based Kannada organisation, Sangama.
The actress, along with popular Sandalwood actor Puneet Rajkumar, will take part in the meet in London in August. Actress Roopa Iyer, coordinator of the conference, announced this to presspersons in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
The convention was aimed at exhibiting the Kannada culture in London, and over 2,000 Kannadigas from across the world were expected to take part in it. The event will have exhibition, cultural programmes, besides investors’ meet.
