Popular comedian Senthil, who recently campaigned for the AIADMK combine in the State Assembly elections, has been admitted to a private hospital.
Sources said he developed uneasiness and and was rushed to the hospital. He is undergoing treatment and is fine. He would be discharged in a few days, they added.
Senthil had acted in over 300 films in Tamil cinema in comical roles, that too all leading heroes. He is popular for sharing the screen space with Goundamani.
In the election campaign meetings recently, he came down heavily on the then ruling party DMK and sought votes for the AIADMK, whose supremo J Jayalalithaa is the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu now.
