Recently when Kannada Superstar Puneeth Rajkumar celebrated his birthday, announcements were made by his close friend actor-producer Guru dutt that his next movie will be directed by Gautham Menon. Few months ago, Divya Spandana had mentioned that Gautham Menon has already signed her for the Kannada remake of ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’ and is looking out for the hero in lead role.
Now it has been revealed by some of the closer sources that Puneeth Rajkumar will be enacting the role of Karthik. But producer Guru Dutt has denied them as baseless rumors saying that the script will be a fresh script from Gautham Menon and is touted to be an action-thriller.
The filmmaker will fly down to Bangalore this weekend for final discussion of script and finalize the crew members.
