Mysskin’s forthcoming project with Aarya is shelved even before it started. The filmmaker with a distinct identity was in talks to make a film for director Lingusamy starring Aarya in the lead. Lingusamy, impressed with ‘Nandalala’, wanted to ‘honour’ Mysskin by offering a film under his own banner and hence they were about to enter into a deal.
The project, however, has failed to take off. Lingusamy is said to be stumped when he got the glimpses of Mysskin’s idea of the budget. It was somewhere around Rs.30 crores! Mysskin is said to have told Lingu that he would have to China personally to study in detail about the martial art form which would be playing a ‘big role’ in the film and wanted him to sponsor his 2-month long trip to China.
Lingusamy, who wants to honor a good filmmaker, has decided to drop the project, as 30 crore budget would be too much to handle.
