The Producer was out to Tirunalveli for a cricket matched and flew back to Chennai as he got a call from Venkat Prabhu. Yes, the filmmaker had completed the editing works of ‘Mankatha’ for the shots completed till the date.
Soon after watching the clippings, Dayanidhi Azhagiri had no words to express his excitements and hugged Venkat Prabhu for his tremendous work. Instantly, he came up saying, ‘Thala Thala Than’.

Ajith is playing three characters in ‘Mankatha’ as he did the roles in ‘Varalaaru’ Close sources say that Ajith`s 40 years look will become a rage once the film releases. Only for a few songs he is wearing wigs and the character has the salt and pepper look and is slightly on the plump side.
As ‘Mankatha’ is nearing its completion he has signed the project of ‘Billa 2′ with Chakri Toleti which will begin the shoot in the first week of May & this film has totally different look as he has to look like a youngster in the age group of 20 to 25
