The phenomenal success of superstar Rajnikanth’s latest film ‘Enthiran: The Robot’ has belied predictions by many trade pundits that the superstar might contemplate ‘retirement’ from films, making ‘Enthiran’ his last film. On the contrary, Rajni has gone ahead and agreed to do ‘Raana’ by K.S Ravikumar in which he would be romancing as many as three heroines!

Rajni’s decision to carry on has made the young crop of directors to make desperate efforts to secure a Rajni-starrer. Actor-director Cheran is the latest addition to the list of directors comprising A.R Murugadoss, Vijay of Kireedom and Madarasapattinam fame, Gautham Menon, etc. who have expressed their desire to direct Rajni in at least one film in their careers.
Cheran, who is presently busy with ‘Muran’ which co-stars Prasanna, has revealed that he had a tailor-made script for Rajni and said that he would be extremely happy if ‘Rajni Sir accepted to do’ his film. Speaking to reporters recently, Cheran revealed that the script he had penned keeping Rajni in mind would be one of the ‘most significant hits’ in the latter’s career.

“No commercial aspects need to be forcibly included in the script whose success could easily be ensured by the treatment and the magical presence of Rajni. If Rajni agrees to do this, this would not only be a huge hit for him but would rank among the all-time great top 100 films in the history of Kollywood. I now leave the ball in Rajni Sir’s Court,” concluded Cheran.
