Nishikanth Kamat known for his unorthodox style of filmmaking turned global spotlights with his Marathi movie ‘Dombvili Fast’ that won several international awards. Later the film remade in Tamil as ‘Evano Oruvan’ marveled every set of audiences.
In Bollywood, the filmmaker rose to epitome of success with ‘Mumbai Meri Jaan’ that was a classic showpiece revolving around 6 parallel tracks of stories interwoven through a series of bomb blasts.
Now the filmmaker is busy wrapping up with the Hindi remake of ‘Kakka kakka’ featuring John Abraham and Genelia D’ Souza in lead roles. Producer Vipul Shah has admitted that the plot from the Tamil version will remain the same while most of the scenes will be brand new savoring to the tastes of Hindi audiences.
