Janani Iyer, who is debuting as heroine in director Bala’s ‘Avan Ivan’ opposite Vishal, is extremely delighted to be part of a ‘Bala’ film. The pretty Janani is also a lucky girl, as she has reportedly been selected from around more than ‘one lakh’ entries received by Bala in response to his advertisement to spot an ‘ideal’ heroine for the film.
Janani couldn’t believe her luck when she was informed that she had made it as the film’s heroine. “It’s nothing but a gift from the Almighty,” says Janani, a ‘veteran’ model with more than 100 commercials to her credit and a popular face on the modeling circuit.
The tall and svelte Janani plays an ‘innocent’ cop in the film (wonder how would an ‘innocent’ cop look like!). She terms the experience of working with Bala, a known ‘perfectionist’, as a once-in-a-lifetime experience. A strict task-master, Bala would otherwise be a perfect ‘prankseter’ on the sets when they are not shooting, reveals Janani.
