According to The Times of India, actress Bhumika Chawla who got married to yoga guru Bharat Thakur four years ago is filing for divorce.
The couple got married in the year 2007, Before marriage the two had dated for four years.

Bhumika chawla debuted with the film Roja kootam and had done some good films but the film sillunu oru kadal with surya gave her a wonderful break and she is better known of Bhumika chawla of sillunu oru kadal fame. The actress got into production and off late has become very choosy doing performance oriented roles. The actress debuted in malayalam industry along side mohanlal for the Bhramaram directed by Blessy.
Now after a gap of 3 years she has recently confirmed her next malayalam film titled Buddy directed by Raj Menon. The film also has Asha Sharath, Anoop Menon and Balachandra menon along with her in prominent roles. She is very happy doing this project where she does the role of a mother cum a dancer who does research on the traditional art forms of kerala!
