Sources said Anushka signs for Billa 2 pair with Ajith. The good news is that Billa-2 will start rolling in the middle of April. The film is being produced by Suresh Balaji, son of the legendary producer K Balaji who originally made Rajnikanth‘s Billa.
Anushka already done hot performance in Billa Telugu version with Prabhas.
Vishnuvardhan is the director and Yuvan Shankar Raja will provide music. Nirav Shah is the cameraman. Sources said “The team is looking at a girl who can spring a surprise in a glam role like what Nayantara did in Billa 1. As of now only Anushka fits the bill and her pairing with Ajith would make the film red hot”.

Anushka to star opposite Ajith in ‘Billa-2’?
Anushka, the lady with a ‘never-ending pair of legs, is likely to pair up opposite ‘Ultimate Star’ Ajith in his next film titled ‘Billa-2’, a sequence to his highly successful ‘Billa’, which released more than three years ago. The sequel is likely to be produced by Suresh Balaji.
Suresh is the son of late Balaji, the veteran actor-producer who made the original Rajni-starrer ‘Billa’ more than thirty years ago. Incidentally, Rajni’s ‘Billa’ was a remake of the Bollywood superhit film ‘Don’ which stared Amitabh Bachchan in the title role.
Vishnuvardhan, who has his own style of making and packaging his films in an admirable manner, would be directing ‘Bills-2’. Nirav Shah would take care of cinematography while Ajit’s favourite music director Yuvan Shankar Raja would be composing the music.
The film is likely to go to the floors from April onwards. The hunt for heroine led the director to Anoushka, who played a sexy little role in the Telugu remake of ‘Billa’ which starred Prabhas. When approached to play the lead role opposite Ajith, Anoushka was initially reluctant to take up the offer as she was adamant that she would only be pairing up opposite superstar Rajnikanth and nobody else.
A bit of cajoling, a hefty sum and an explanation about the significant role she would be playing in the film finally made Anoushka take up the offer, it is reported!
