Superstar Rajnikanth blessed Vishnu, hero films like ‘Vennila Kabadikuzhu’ and ‘Drohi’ & his fiancee Rajini last week in Chennai.
Vishnu, a promising upcoming actor, got married to Rajini, daughter of K. Natraj. Natraj happens to be a close pal of the superstar and has directed the actor in films like ‘Anbulla Rajinikanth’ in the eighties and ‘Valli’ in the nineties. Natraj, who played a significant role in Rajni’s ‘Priya’ in the early eighties, named his daughter as a mark of his deep friendship with the superstar.
The engagement ceremony of Vishnu, son of Ramesh Gudavla, a high-ranking Police Officer, with Rajni was held a month ago followed by the marriage which took place last week. The wedding took place at a star hotel situated on the Old Mahabalipuram Road. Rajni, dressed in his trademark kurta-pyjama, came and blessed the couple and left after spending some time with his buddy Natraj.
Other top-ranking police officials who attended the wedding include the State’s top cop and DGP Lathika Saran.
