The ‘Yuvan Live-In Concert’ has been making waves in Kollywood circles in the past few days. Popular television channel Vijay TV is organizing a never-before musical night titled ‘Yuvan Live-In Concert’ on 16th January at YMCA grounds in Nandanam, Chennai. On the said day, Yuvan would be singing, dancing and composing live for the audience who would also get to have a darshan of his father, the ‘Maestro’ Ilaiyaraaja, on-stage.
A song has been specially created and made on the occasion. Starring Yuvan himself in the song, the single-song album was shot by Visnhuvardhan & cinematographed by none other than Nirav Shah, the man much in demand in the industry. The song was released, like the audio launch of movies, at a specially arranged function recently. The launch was to be held in a foreign country but was held in Chennai eventually, at the insistence of Vijay TV.
At the audio launch, the song was screened and looked majestic with fiery flames shown to be erupting from the guitar held by Yuvan. Yuvan had sung and starred in the album, for which Na. Muthukumar had penned the lyrics. Ameer, a regular in all such functions, said that he too wanted to cast Yuvan as hero in one of his films. He went a step further and recommended to Vishnuvardhan to cast Yuvan in the lead role in his upcoming film ‘Billa-2’.
Ameer’s idea was met with a thunderous applause from the crowd. Muthukumar, directors Lingusamy & Venkat prabhu and others too endorsed Ameer’s suggestion to Yuvan to consider pursuing a parallel career in acting. Yuvan’s ‘Live-In Concert’, in which Ilaiyaraaja would also be composing and signing, is expected to draw record audiences.
Yuvan, however, remained non-committal about it when he spoke!
