It’s official. Vijay’s ‘Kavalan’ has been pushed for Pongal and will now compete with Dhanush’s ‘Aadukalam’.
We still don’t know what Vijay feels but Dhanush is looking forward to the healthy clash in January. In his social networking site Dhanush has said “It’s official I am honoured for I would be competing with Vijay Sir for the fourth time! I am thrilled, praying the best for both films.”
‘Kavalan’ seems to have braved all rough weathers and will hit the theatres on Pongal day. Vettrimaran directed ‘Aadukalam’ is his second film after the well received ‘Pollathavan’. Both have enough reasons to be patronized.
The last three instances when the two star’s’ films clashed are Athu Oru Kana Kaalam & Sivakasi in 2005. Pollathavan and Azhagiya Tamil Magan in 2007, Padikathavan & Villu in 2009.
Even we pray for both the films do well.
