‘Chandramukhi‘ starring superstar Rajinikanth, Jyothika, Prabhu has been the longest running film setting a new trend in Indian Film industry.
The film narrated the lives of Vettayan Raja, Ganga and her lover. The sequenes and the characters will have more gripping moments in the second part. Director P.Vasu was planning to make the second part with Rajinikanth and then Ajith came into picture, but the director ended up in making the second part in Kannada as ‘Aaptha Rakshaka’
Now this flick has been remade as ‘Nagavalli’ in Telugu casting Venkatesh, Anushka Shetty, Shraddha Das & Kamalini Mukherjee playing the lead roles. Actor Venkatesh will play dual roles in this flick.
Earlier it was decided not to release this flick in Tamil Nadu as the director P.Vasu had plans to make tamil version too, but now the team is planning to release more prints across Tamil Nadu.
