South India‘s most happening hottie had her long awaited Telugu movie ‘Nagavalli‘ that got released today. The film had huge expectations because the prequel ‘Chandramukhi‘ was a blockbuster in both Telugu & Tamil (Tamil version crossed 800 Days). ‘Nagavalli’ has Venkatesh playing the lead role with Anushka taking on the role of Nagavalli – The Chandramukhi.
Playing this role, Anushka was expected of a fantabulous dance, but she failed to live up to the expectations. Most of the reviews that came upon the film mentioned that it looks like Anushka has undergone a crash course in Bharathanatiyam class and so is Kamalini Mukherji.
The film has Venkatesh playing dual roles and the complete portions of ‘Nagavalli’ are in Tamil & Anushka utters most of the lines in Tamil, which is an additional value in Tamil Nadu theaters.
