‘Aaranya Kaandam’ to hit screens in Jan

S.P Balasubramaniam‘s long time project ‘Aaranya Kaandam‘ is all set to hit screens in January 2011.

By seeing the title ‘Aaranya Kaandam’ don’t jump into conclusions that the film is related to Ramayana and the film has nothing to do with the great epic and deals with multiple story lines that takes place in a day in the lives of six protagonists.

The film casts Jackie Shroff, Sampath, Ravi Krishna, Yasmin, Ponnappa, Vasanth, Somasundaram in the lead roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music and the film has bagged Grand Jury Award for Best Film at the South Asian International Film Festival in New York.
