Reported to be inspired from Hollywood movie – I’m Sam; Vikram plays the role of a mentally challenged person. To look apt for the childish behavior, Vikram seems to have shaved his moustache. Anushka plays the role of lawyer in favor of him. The only difference between the Hollywood version and this one is that Vijay wants to change the daughter’s characterization and project it as father-son relationship. Amala Paul aka Anaka of ‘Mynaa’ fame plays the role of Vikram’s deceased wife.
Produced by Mohan Natarajan, major portions of the film will be shot in Ooty with few songs in huge sets of studios.
