Following complaints from two writers Amudha Thamizhnadan and Arnika that Endhiran is a violation of their copyrights, the CB CID police have issued notice to director Shankar to appear before them and offer an explanation.
Shankar has been saying that ‘Endhiran’ is based on the book ‘En Iniya Iyandhira‘ by late writer Sujatha and had modified certain parts of the script to suit the film.
