For the first time in World History, the complete film has been shot in a Still Camera and that makes ‘Sanikkilamai Saayangalam 5 Mani’ – a movie on records. Having gained appreciations with ‘Madurai 2 Theni Vazhi Aandipatti’, S.P.S. Media has produced this film.
HDSLR cameras are used has secondary source of canning fill-in shots in many Hollywood films that includes ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. But this is the first time; a complete film has been shot with the same camera by producer-cinematographer S.P.S Guhan.
‘Sanikkilamai Saayangalam 5 Mani’ marks the debut of Sarath from Coimbatore and Malini from Bangalore in lead roles while directors Rathi Bala & Ravi Bharathi, Selvam, Malathi & Meera Krishnan have performed prominent roles.
Touted to be a crime-thriller, the film opens at 5 ‘O’ Clock on a Saturday and ends at the same time on next Saturday.
J.V. has tuned melodies for the lyrical lines of Tamizh Selvan. Rathi Bala has penned screenplay and Rathi Bharathi has handled direction.
