Sangeetha Maha Yuddham, the musical reality show conceptualized and produced by Saibaba Telefilms Pvt. Ltd, is back, bigger and better with exciting new faces in Season 2. This Saturday, November 13, 2010 sees the show kick-off with the state-wide auditions and this will be followed by the very first match between the new teams for the new season.
The fabulous new line-up of captains this season includes big names from the Tamil music industry like:
Rahul Nambiar, Ranjith, Naveen, Prasanna, Grace Karunas, Sunitha Sarathy, Mathangi.
The format of Sangeetha Mahayuddham is based on teams rather than individuals and the show will bring these young talents from across the state in a fun and entertaining music-based competition and under the guidance of the seven stalwarts it is sure to raise the bar of reality shows to a higher level.

Can we please have Chinamyi to host it. She was excelent in this. I feel that Sangeetha maha yudham 2 will not be the same and great without Chinmayi.
I second Jega – Chinmayi did a great job of hosting the show. Also, the spl guest jury should not give scoring as it alters the balance.
I am not very happy with how the contest between Rahul and Prasanna was judged. i totally disagree with Ms.Usha high marks for Prasanna’s team when they didn’t really put much efforts in singing. I understand that every member have to participate in singing the last round. I don’t belief that she should get so emotional and sentimental all together just because motherhood or sprituality been shown. My friends, family and i belief that Rahul should have won that contest. However I don’t deny the fact that Prasanna is a good singer and performer but in this particular contest, I personally felt that Rahul was discriminated. I hope Ms.Usha would be more fair in her judging in the future.
Totally surprised by the way people are making this particular team. They are the definition of total fun and entertainment which this team should stand for. Very gutted at that loss. Also, the before match. We want Rahul and Grace team in finals
What was that show? Agree Balaji. In general, the whole show Rahul and team was best. Duet- super oh super…very very nice chemistry and fun on stage. I want to watch Rahul show live. And Rahul team group song always treat to watch… Why no voting? I vote for Rahul and Ranjith team. When these 2 teams and Grace team is not there, SMY 2 is boring.

SMY is well doctored show.I was on the shooting days present.Grace team always get good marks even if they perform bad.They are correcting what they sing also.Grace is not behaving like good family lady.She will positively win this contest she is influential person with the network.Shame they are fooling viewers worldwide.

SMY 2 is a big lie ! Grace is made to win this competition.
Rahul Nambiar was eliminated unfairly.The girl in his team sang badly but they gave better performance than Naveen.
Naveen team should have been out his team is extremely poor.No one is good there all hopeless including Naveen.
Ranjith has a good team Ranjith is a good team leader.he choose well and his contestants are singing well everytime.
Sunitha Sarathy team give her trouble.Other than Mukund the little kid the boy Guna and Girl Rohini give her trouble.Sunitha fell very ill with long hour of shoot.That girl Rohini in her team is very bad girl.
Prasana team is good and he is a good singer.But he is not giving opportunity to his male singer and is singing all songs unlike Sunitha who gives opportunity to her contestants allways.
Grace is not fit to even be on this show.

Do you know that Grace does correction to her song after shooting it.This is a big eyewash show.
